FC-500 electric lock also called “under mortise lock”, lock tongue (pop up iron rod) is down side and you installed it in the group with a non-standard installation. You can not install the lock with the way you like. The lock tongue can not pop up with the lock hole dust falling. I suggest you to re-install it according with the instruction.
